Estela Vara
Cafe Tlahuica was born from a deep commitment to community, collaboration, and cultural roots.

As a migrant woman, originally from the state of Morelos, where the indigenous Tlahuica people descended from the Mexicas, I have always used food as a way to preserve and share my heritage. Through each dish, I aim to bring the flavors and traditions of my roots to life.
Cafe Tlahuica is more than just a catering business—it is a space where we work together as a team to empower one another and uplift our community. Our mission is grounded in the belief in autonomy and creating a safe, inclusive workplace.
